      • Cucurbits: cucumbers, zucchini
      • Salad: green and red summer crisp lettuces, arugula
      • Greens: chard, malabar
      • Tomatoes: Sungold, Black cherry, slicing
      • Potatoes: banana fingerlings
      • Legumes: green beans, edamame
      • Herbs (cut): basil, mint, parsley, dill
      • Flowers: bouquet

This week we have the first vegetable of the year from the Congo part of Congolina, Malabar greens. Malabar is sometimes called a spinach but cook it for itself.  It is frequently used in African, Jamaican, and Indian dishes. 

The pickup protocol is that when you arrive we will find your order and place it on top of a little table in the walkway.  Then we’ll step back and you can collect it.  Alternatively, you can pop your trunk and we will load it there.

To have your order delivered in Greensboro select “Greensboro Westerwood” as the location, choose delivery.  If you have any special delivery instructions or want delivery near our farm, send us an email.  Don’t be shy about asking for delivery.

If you choose the “pay with check” option on your cart, just bring your check made out to Congolina Farm.  We have pick-up Saturday (Greensboro 8:00-10:00  Farm 4:00 – 5:00).   The Greensboro address is 408  Woodlawn Ave.  The farm address is 5919 Bush Road.

Farming Practices – We do not use synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Instead we use compost and OMRI certified products. We plant non-GMO seeds and grow outdoors in the sun.
